FCC Concert & Forum Reminder

Remember the "Magical Musical Journey" to be performed by piano prodigy Christopher Tavernier at 4pm this Saturday in the Sanctuary.

This Sunday, November 2  at  9:15 the forum topic will be "How Prayer Functions at Many Levels."

Building on the Prayer Workshop Series presented by the O'Keefes in August,  Sandy Westin will lead an exploration of how prayer is viewed in the fields of Psychology, Metaphysics and Neuroplasticity.  This Adult Forum will aim to uncover how prayer functions at many levels to empower and enable the Creator within us all to shape our reality. Sandy has focused much of her adult life on fostering curiosity, understanding and mutual respect among those of differing religions and spiritual expressions.  As this year's convener of United Religions Initiative in Henderson County and a member of First Congregational Church, Sandy provides an energetic and open exploration of topics she addresses in the Adult Forum.

Remember to set your clocks BACK an hour late Saturday night.

FCC Forum Reminder

This Sunday, October 26 at 9:15 - "Oneness" will be our topic. The Oneness Blessing (also known as deeksha) is a transmission of divine energy originated by twin avatars in India.
Diane Swift will explain how the Oneness Blessing came about and participants will receive the blessing, which consists of placing hands upon the head from several blessing givers.  Many people believe that consistently receiving (and giving) the Oneness Blessing has changed their lives! Diane has been a psychotherapist for more than 40 years and a spiritual seeker and teacher during that time.  She has led groups in the "Pathwork of Self Transformation" and taught at the Institute for Core Energetics in New York City. She recently was ordained and offers spiritual counseling by phone and in person.
