"PAUL; A Would-Be Apostle"

This Sunday, May 25 at 9:15, local author, Reverend Dr. Harold Littleton, returns to begin a two-part forum series based on his new book, Paul: A would Be Apostle – Roots of Christian Anti-Judaism and Christian Anti-Semitism.

This first session will be on "Paul, the Mystic." Paul, a hellenistic Jew, was influenced by the perspective of the culture around him. It was very different from the Judaism of Palestine and Jerusalem. From that worldview he shaped and "invented" an interpretation of Jesus (whom he never saw in person) that was completely different from the message and intention of Jesus of Nazareth.

On Sunday,June 1, his subject will be, “Paul, Christianity and Anti-Semitism”.While Paul would deny 21st century understanding of those terms, his misunderstanding of the Law and his vehement rejection of circumcision, seen in his condemnation of the "Judaizers," provided fertile ground for persecution, pogroms, and the Shoah.

May 11: 30 MILLION ENSLAVED TODAY!

May 11: 30 MILLION ENSLAVED TODAY!

The trafficking of human beings for labor or sex is modern-day slavery!  It is a huge and serious worldwide problem, especially victimizing young children.  It is a 35 billion dollar industry, second only to drug trafficking.

We now have an opportunity to learn more about this from folks who have direct experience and involvement.  FCC welcomes back Bob and Fran German who have traveled to over 65 countries and will present first-hand stories, facts and insights on this chilling illegal crime that occurs everywhere.  Also, we will discuss actions we all can take to help abolish today’s slave trade.

This promises to be an eye-opening and meaningful program that we encourage you to attend.
